What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan, write, edit, and publish the most relevant, engaging, and conversational daily newsletter about Asheville, NC.
• Manage daily content for the newsletter and website.
• Regularly collaborate with an Audience Editor and other editorial team members.
• Assist in writing sponsored content relevant to your market.
• Execute on engagement tactics as assigned.

Qualifications

• Passion for your local city, excellent news judgment, curiosity, and interest in innovative media.
• Expertise in distilling the important points of a larger story.
• The ability to identify and produce relevant content in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• A track record of success in digital media.
• A strong and diverse knowledge of content relevant to growing communities.
