News Anchor - Reporter (Weekends)

About the role

WSYX/WTTE is seeking a full-time Weekend News Anchor / Reporter to produce daily content across various platforms, including the internet and social networks.

Responsibilities

• Dig for and report on stories with a clear understanding of current events
• Write compelling stories with strong storytelling and TV production skills
• Generate and demonstrate enterprise reporting and creative storytelling
• Maintain an active social media presence to build a personal brand and solicit story ideas
• Perform live television work

Requirements and Qualifications

• Three years of on-air broadcast experience, including anchoring, is required
• Livestock experience is required
• Previous team environment experience is a must
