About the Role

K&L Gates is seeking a midlevel to senior associate to join the Real Estate practice in our Newark office. The ideal candidate will have experience representing real estate clients, including developers across various asset classes.

• Advising on land use and zoning matters, specifically planning board and zoning board approvals, zoning analyses, permit acquisitions, and redevelopment agreements.
• Handling a broad range of real estate transactions, including financing, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing transactions.

Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers across our US Real Estate platform who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.

Pay

Base compensation: $235,000 - $300,000 per year. The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
