Newark - Employment Associate (Hybrid)
About the role
Littler Mendelson P.C. is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 3-5 years of employment litigation experience to join the Newark office. Labor experience is a plus. The candidate should possess excellent academic credentials. Must be licensed to immediately practice law in New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in employment litigation and arbitration
- Provide guidance on compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Advise on workplace policies and procedures
- Assist with internal investigations and audits
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of employment litigation experience
- Experience in labor law is a plus
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed to practice law in New Jersey
Qualifications
- Strong academic background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective negotiation and mediation abilities
- Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills
- Knowledge of employment law and regulations

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $195,000 to $220,000, contingent on relevant experience and education, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
