Job Summary
The NY Workers' Compensation CSR / IME Scheduler is responsible for handling new cases, assigning them to physicians, and ensuring proper documentation and client interaction.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Handling Receipt of New Cases: Intake new cases, verify information, and draft cases in the Dane Street system.
- Assignment of Cases: Assign/schedule new cases to physicians based on availability and client requirements.
- Oversight of Cases: Monitor and track cases to meet deadlines.
- Client Interaction: Update clients on cases in progress and ensure proper documentation is provided.
- Other Duties & Special Projects: Assist with additional tasks as needed.
Education/Credentials
An Associate's Degree is preferred.
Job Relevance Experience
Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.
Job Related Skills/Competencies
- Present exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
- Apply critical thinking and manage time efficiently to meet specific deadlines.
- Have computer literacy and typing skills.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Long periods of sitting and computer work. Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above.
