About the role

As a New York - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success. As an Intern, you will adopt a learning mindset, take ownership of your development, and appreciate diverse perspectives. You will actively listen, ask questions to check understanding, and clearly express ideas, all while gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns.

In this role within our Assurance practice, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Supporting audit teams in conducting financial assessments and evaluations
  • Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance
  • Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting processes
  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of data to uphold regulatory standards
  • Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to project goals and team success
  • Applying a learning mindset to develop personal and professional skills
  • Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns
  • Collaborating with team members to understand and implement compliance and governance protocols
  • Utilizing cloud engineering principles to support systematic approaches in audit processes
  • Developing an understanding of cybersecurity governance to prevent interruptions in organizational activities

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

Pay

$29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
