About the role
King O’Rourke Buick, GMC, Cadillac in Smithtown, family owned & operated for almost 50 years is seeking to hire an experienced Sales Consultant to round out our team of sales professionals. This is a rare opening to work at Long Island’s Largest Cadillac, Buick, GMC Dealership!
Responsibilities
- Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership
- Aid customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
- Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers
- Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
Qualifications
- Continually keep abreast of all new product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits to the customer
- The ability to present yourself as a true automotive sales professional
- Have great people / phone skills
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Good computer/CRM knowledge
- Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
