About the role

Whole Foods Market is opening a new store in Fairfax, CA (Fall 2026) located at 355 S. Ogden Drive, Suite #100, Los Angeles, CA 90036. The store is hiring for full‑time and part‑time positions across all teams.

Responsibilities

  • Bakery: Counter Service and Coffee Bar
  • Customer Service: Cashiers, Carts, Bag Groceries
  • Grocery & Stocking: Includes frozen foods, dry goods, dairy, and bulk foods, etc. (Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.)
  • Meat: Counter Service for fresh, frozen, and smoked natural meats and poultry
  • Prepared Foods: Production and counter for pizza, charcuterie, hot food, salad bar, sandwiches
  • Produce & Floral: Production (cutting fruit) and Service (fresh and packaged)
  • Seafood: Fresh, frozen, and smoked seafood
  • Shoppers (E‑Commerce): Online orders
  • Specialty: Includes cheese, beer, chocolate, and housewares
  • Whole Body: Includes vitamins, supplements, body care, and makeup

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • In an 8‑hour workday: standing/walking for 6‑8 hours.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to temperatures: 90°F.
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery; may require use of ladders.

Pay

The wage range for this position is $19.25‑$25.40 per hour.

Schedule

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
