New Store - Bakery Production Team Member (Food Preparation) - Part Time - Salem, New Hampshire - Opening Summer 2026

Job Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
• Bakes, cools, wraps, and labels products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques.
• Trains production personnel.
• Plans and forecasts production for special events and holidays.
• Maintains Datapax system.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Makes sales potential through proper procedures.
• Fulfills opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

    Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

    • Able to lift 50 pounds.
    • Standing/walking 6-8 hours per day.
    • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling.
    • Bending, twisting, squatting, reaching.
    • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
    • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
    • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
    • May require use of ladders.

      Pay and Benefits

      $16.00-$25.40 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
