About the role

Anesthesiologist - Pediatric

Responsibilities

  • Anesthesia Care team is comprised of 10 physicians and 22 Advanced Practice Providers, both CRNAs and CAAs
  • Brand new Chief of Pediatrics opportunity created to help grow the service line
  • Case mix includes General surgery, Robotic, GYN, GYN Oncology, Plastics, Urology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Ortho
  • Will see up to 70% pediatric cases
  • Dedicated in-house night physician coverage 365 days/year
  • Dedicated OB staff for 24 hour OB coverage
  • Opportunities for involvement in anesthesia resident education and medical student education
  • Lively work environment with a close knit group and upbeat culture

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Experience in pediatric anesthesia preferred

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Current Florida Medical License
  • Passing score on the NBME Step 3 exam

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
