About the role

A.B.I. Resources is excited to announce the opening of a new company in Middlebury, Vermont. We are currently seeking experienced caregivers and companions to assist individuals recovering from strokes, concussions, and brain injuries in various community settings.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities such as shopping, medical appointments, and community outings.
• Ensure clients are safe and comfortable during all interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.

Requirements

• At least one to two years of experience working with individuals recovering from strokes, concussions, and brain injuries.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
