About the role
Affect is seeking licensed Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselors in New Mexico to provide fully remote, evidence-based care to our Members. This role is ideal for clinicians passionate about recovery and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and evaluate Member readiness for care
- Facilitate virtual individual and group counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum
- Provide crisis support and coordinate referrals when needed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EMR
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors on treatment planning and discharge
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable state regulations
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted New Mexico license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LISW, or LADAC)
- Experience working with substance use disorder populations
- Comfort providing care via telehealth platforms
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet
