Job Summary

The New Membership Sales Representative will focus on producing revenue through the sale of season ticket memberships for one of the charter clubs in Major League Soccer. Direct functions include prospecting new business opportunities, managing and reporting weekly on your pipeline of prospects, developing new business leads, communicating with past season ticket buyers, building and growing customer relationships, and demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and service.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and long-term sales goals in the areas of new season membership sales.
  • Possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly verbal, and strong organizational skills.
  • Making 60+ calls per day, conducting face-to-face meetings and stadium tours, and working all home matches as a means of prospecting new business opportunities.
  • Working in harmony with team members and other departments within the club.
  • Building and fostering beneficial relationships with new business accounts.
  • Providing excellent care and quality service to all customers/prospects.
  • Assisting management with sales campaigns, events, and activities.
  • Opportunities to cultivate and sell other full menu and premium products.

Requirements

  • Friendly, outgoing, and competitive spirit within a team environment.
  • Goal-oriented, detail-driven, and passionate about sales, specifically professional sports entertainment.
  • Demonstrating a high level of energy and possessing excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, particularly verbally.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to “traditional” Monday-Friday hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • At least 2 years of Sales experience, preferably in the Sports Industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Spanish skills preferred but not required.
