New Home Sales Consultant

About the role

Mitchell Homes, the industry-leading “Build On Your Lot” homebuilder serving Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Maryland for more than 30 years, is seeking a motivated and results-driven New Home Sales Consultant to join our Newport News Sales Center team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional homes and outstanding customer experiences. Our team of experienced professionals works collaboratively to guide customers through the exciting process of building their dream home on their own land.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping customers achieve their homeownership goals while maintaining strong attention to detail and process management. A real estate license is not required, but prior new home construction or high-value consultative sales experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective clients through the custom home building process, presenting home designs, features, upgrades, and financing options.
• Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through contract execution.
• Collaborate with internal departments and lending partners to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records using our CRM system (Lasso) and other internal tools.
• Deliver exceptional customer service that fosters referrals and repeat business.
• Maintain strong follow-up and pipeline management to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in sales with a strong closing record.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
