About the Role
Sales Associates assist the New Home Sales Consultant (NHC) in the sales process to capture new home sales. You will learn, practice, and develop essential sales and marketing skills, study Company guidelines, and apply New Home Consultant's Minimum Performance Standards. Weekend and holiday work is required.
Responsibilities
- Represent M/I Homes professionally with a positive attitude.
- Support the New Home Consultant in developing a sales and marketing business plan to achieve division goals.
- Use selling skills acquired through company training with all customers.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to posted opening hours to prepare models/sales office for a professional presentation.
- Register customers and input their information in the Pivotal system.
- Demonstrate models, inventory homes, and homesites, discussing features and benefits while exercising selling techniques learned from training programs.
- Provide customers with information on community, pricing, and available financing programs.
- Assist the NHC in developing relationships with realtors through calls, emails, office visits, and marketing materials.
- Assist throughout the sales and selection process, preparing necessary documents for homebuyers.
- Help create marketing/business plans, including flyers, events, grand openings, and open houses.
- Drive through the community daily to ensure signage is clean and accurate; report and follow up on maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Florida Real Estate Sales Person license required.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision and set/attain goals.
- Strong interpretation, analysis, and evaluation skills for selling techniques and homebuyer concerns.
- Self-motivated, persuasive, and customer-service oriented with excellent negotiation and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for high interaction with diverse individuals.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to make competent decisions.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a high sense of personal integrity.
- Proficiency in Docusign, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and internal CRM systems.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
