New Graduate Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Dayshift

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited program for Respiratory Therapy.
• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Student or Educational permit to practice acceptable based on individual state regulations.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Pay

$31.20 per hour starting pay, with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Schedule

Full time dayshift hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm.

Grand Rapids, Michigan (5th floor of Corewell Health Blodgett Hospital).
