New Graduate Pharmacist

About the role

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients by providing best-in-class service in pharmaceutical consulting, disease state management, medication therapy management, and administration of immunizations. The role ensures appropriate, reliable, and consistent patient care through the distribution, control, and delivery of pharmaceuticals according to professional standards and state and federal law.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
• Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with enrolling patients.
• Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.
• Lead, direct, and supervise pharmacy staff in the manager’s absence to accomplish goals.
• Model, coach, and maintain high standards in patient service.
• Structure and organize workflow for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services.
• Develop and follow up on long-term care (LTC) business through communication and attention to the needs of nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
• Identify Long Term Care and Specialty business opportunities and communicate them with Marketers.
• Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and modify job responsibilities as required.
• Assist anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
