New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

Role Overview

The RN Resident is a recent graduate participating in a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed for new nurses with less than six months of experience. They will engage in specialized onboarding, ongoing NRP sessions, and be supported by leaders, educators, and preceptors to develop clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care following evidence-based practices
• Perform the nursing process
• Collaborate effectively with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• Valid RN license (multi-state or single-state)
• BLS certification
