New Graduate Nurse

About the role

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. This position is suitable for student nurses of any graduation date and requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Use critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, promoting patient-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation from an accredited nursing program.
