New Graduate Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Nurse responsible for direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following completion of a nursing program and prior to licensure. The role requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members, promoting patient- and family-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Must obtain nursing license within 90 days of graduation.
• Ability to work safely and remain alert in a healthcare setting.
