New Graduate- Associate Electrical Engineer - Nuclear Design Team

About the role

The Nuclear Design Group at ENERCON is a leading provider of engineering, licensing, and environmental services for nuclear power plants worldwide. We specialize in designing plant modifications, conducting safety analyses, managing licensing renewals, and supporting advanced reactor projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate electrical systems for power-generating facilities
• Contribute to high-quality, code-compliant deliverables
• Manage assigned projects and tasks
• Travel to client sites to conduct walkdowns and manage projects

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited school
• Available to start between January 2026 and July 2027
• Preferred courses: Circuit Analysis, Power Systems, Control Systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, and work outside
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with core concepts in your major
• Pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and MVR checks
