New Grad RN Resident – Telemetry Unit

About the role

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital offers a 31-bed Med/Surg and Telemetry Unit specializing in advanced telemetry. The unit has an average daily census of 25 and includes 7 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms, and a 4-bed observation room.

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors.
• Offer healthcare information as needed to enhance patients' experiences.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• Minimum of one year RN work experience or less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience in a non-inpatient to acute direct patient care setting.

Pay

• Pay range minimum: $35.50 per hour.
• Pay range maximum: $55.60 per hour.

Schedule

The position requires working days from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday requirements.
