Organization Description
Nacogdoches Medical Center has been serving the East Texas community for nearly 50 years with a focus on caring for patients and a strong team environment. Service lines at the hospital include obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology (including a cath lab and electrophysiology capabilities), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology and stroke treatments) and weight loss surgery. These services help the medical center provide treatment options close to home for patients.
Job Summary
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. The Registered Nurse renders professional nursing care to patients assigned in a Med-Surg unit, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect care patient care and collaboration with other disciplines involved in the provision of care.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Minimum Experience: GN with temporary license
Required Certification: BLS, ACLS
Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license
