Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, identifying and reporting changes.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed by medical providers.
  • Document care in the patient medical record accurately and promptly.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic responses.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests and teach them about their medical conditions, treatments, and medications.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and other members of the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of employment.
  • A basic associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, achieved before start date.
  • A registered nurse license or graduate nurse license in the state, with 90 days to pass the NCLEX.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Travel for training may be needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse License.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Other certifications may be required during employment.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to handle complex medical situations, and a commitment to patient care are essential.
