New Equipment & Modernization ROBUST Sourcing Analyst

About the role

The Field Supply Chain Team in North America is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to manage the procurement of robust full systems. Key responsibilities include conducting RFP/RFQ exercises, preparing purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Conducting RFP/RFQ exercises for pre and post award NE/MOD ROBUST contracts
• Preparing FSC determined material source & defined pricing proposal to NAA field local office
• Ensuring strong communication to fulfill material requirements and meet customer expectations
• Managing material logistics, ensuring on-time deliveries, proper inventory levels, and support services rates/performance metrics
• Working with external Supplier groups to resolve supply issues and demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Maintaining a high service level (SLA) by evaluating customer demand and expediting material to meet internal/external customer needs
• Managing suppliers to perform quality, delivery, cost, and inventory metrics
• Compiling price proposals, financial reports, and analyses to support price reasonableness, purchase quantity, and strategy
• Participating in process improvement activities to improve internal processes for quality and productivity
• Managing suppliers to perform quality, delivery, cost, and inventory metrics
• Resolving discrepancies in purchase orders
• Managing price increases
• Identifying cost savings opportunities
• Resolving invoicing issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or engineering
• Minimum of 1-3 years related experience in a supply chain function or Elevator Field experience
• Experience in SDC, MOD eLog, Global JDE & associated systems (K2), Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Forms, SmartSheet, Teams, and other data manipulation programs
• Ability to read engineering drawings & customer Elevator / Escalator specification/requirement documentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication abilities
• Strong understanding and application of lean manufacturing
