About the role
Provides nursing care through physical and mental assessments, laboratory testing, treatment plans and therapeutic treatments.
Responsibilities
- Knows a wide range of disorders including cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavioral issues.
- Performs crisis intervention.
- Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Requirements
Knowledge of medical procedures and patient care protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN).
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Alabama.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy.
