New Business Placement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
• Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
• Collaborates with sales staff, both locally and long distance, as well as carrier partners in developing and executing marketing and placement strategies to drive new business growth
• Submits new business applications, including supplementals, to carrier partners
• Generates quotes utilizing carrier online quoting systems and creates professional, detailed proposals per agency standards
• Enters prospect and underwriting information into agency management system and maintains organized account files with proper documentation
• Maintains knowledge of carrier and broker appetites and specialty programs, including attending carrier meetings to stay apprised of market and rate changes
