New Accounts Representative - Deposit Operations

About the role

Support Ally Bank in the handling and disposition of all cases relating to New Accounts and Pended Applications. Provide accurate and timely processing regarding cases. Assist with research needed to resolve and decide applications. Candidate will participate in group projects, be responsible for customer care as well as providing instruction and support for the bank’s contact center.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for the resolution of Sales Force issues
• Assist with the research needed to resolve all bank inquiries
• Interact with the Customer Call Center, Ally Bank customers, as well as non-customers
• Recommend procedure/policy changes needed to improve customer experience
• Complete various reports to management
• Interact with various departments within operations to remediate customer issues and discover solutions for case resolution
• Work to reduce percent of accounts in pending to within Bank standards
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 0+ years of experience
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent
• Customer Service experience providing resolutions is required
• Banking experience preferred
• Experience in Windows-based PC skills (Microsoft Office) required
• Outgoing and eager to learn across business functions
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills are essential
• Ability to multi-task and to effectively process diverse workloads concurrently
• Strong Fraud Analytic knowledge

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: High school Diploma or GED equivalent
