About the role

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment needs. The unit specializes in neurosurgery, caring for patients post-cranial, spinal surgeries, stroke, or neurological conditions, equipped with advanced technology and dedicated leadership support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Apply critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and cultural factors.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• Preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of experience.
