Responsibilities

• Overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coinciding and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Managing cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
• Overseeing cash, investments, and asset management area.
• Exploring investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
• Maintaining relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation is also required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Proven experience with ledger operations, cash flow management, and general ledger (GL) activities.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
