Neurosurgeon at St. Joseph's Hospital - Tampa

About the role

BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting a board eligible or board certified Neurosurgeon to join their group practice based at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. The current team consists of four experienced Board Certified Neurosurgeons who specialize in treating all surgical cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve pathology. Candidates with an interest in spine are preferred due to trauma related spine cases.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of all surgical cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve pathology
• Participation in call schedule of 15%
• Access to state-of-the-art equipment and surgical instruments
• Growth within an established practice

Requirements

• Board Certification/Board Eligibility by the American Board of Neurological Surgery

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency program in Neurosurgery
• Current Florida Medical License

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong surgical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
