About the role

Marshall University Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a full‑time board certified/board eligible General Neurosurgeon who has successfully completed a Neurosurgery residency.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in General Neurosurgery
• Successfully completed Neurosurgery residency
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a medical license to practice in West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment, surgical procedures, and follow‑up care for adult neurosurgery patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participate in clinic, hospital, and teaching components of the position
• Provide general neurosurgery call coverage with other neurosurgeons in a shared system
• Engage in physician and hospital outreach activities related to General Neurosurgery
• Participate in medical student and resident education
• Participate in research activities
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery
