About the role

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and profitability within a defined territory. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders, providing product demonstrations, and developing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts (HCPs and office staff)
  • Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide patient education
  • Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs
  • Maintain a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges and fostering a collaborative environment with internal teams
  • Take calculated risks and apply creative problem-solving techniques to improve performance in geographical assignments
  • Adhere to all Teva’s compliance policies and guidelines
  • Achieve all sales performance goals and complete administrative duties for geographical assignments

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
  • Proven record of accomplishments in this specific market toward meeting established objectives
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred
  • New product launch experience preferred
  • Broad therapeutic area experience particularly in therapeutic area preferred

Skills

  • Proven record of accomplishments in this specific market toward meeting established objectives
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, open communication, inclusivity, and openness to feedback
  • Ability to interact with HCPs in both face-to-face and virtual environments, and be proficient with technology
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred
  • New product launch experience preferred
  • Broad therapeutic area experience particularly in therapeutic area preferred

Pay

The annual starting salary for this position is between $88,000 – $160,000 annually. Factors affecting starting salary include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Participation in the company's sales incentive plan is also available.

Schedule

Regular travel, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel, is required. Current territory boundaries include North - Ft. Payne, North Cullman, Cullman, South - Sylacauga, Tuscaloosa, East - Anniston, East Gadsden, and West - West Tuscaloosa. Territory boundaries are subject to change based on business need.
