About the role
The Staff Nurse will provide care for patients in the Intermediate Neurosciences Units, working collaboratively to deliver excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment. Nursing at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is known for excellent clinical practice and a commitment to knowing patients on a deeper level—not just as patients, but as individuals—to ensure they and their families feel known and cared for.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients in Intermediate Neurosciences Units.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and high-quality patient care.
- Engage with patients and families to deliver patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
- For newly licensed nurses, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
- 1-2 years of neuro/medical-surgical experience preferred (new graduates may apply).
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended; certification in a specialty area is encouraged.

Pay
Pay range: $41.71 - $105.65/hourly (Grade MNA333). Base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other essential factors.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week.
- Variable night shift.
- Onsite at 75 Francis Street.
