About the role
The RN - Charge Nurse facilitates, coordinates, and evaluates unit activities for the provision of quality patient care during the assigned shift. This individual serves as a mentor to the staff and demonstrates the consistent ability to act as a role model by applying the nursing process, quality improvement standards, and organizational and departmental goals and objectives in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Education/Experience: Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year staff nurse experience required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active RN licensure required, BLS required. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned.
