About the role
The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time Neuroradiologist who is ABR certified and CAQ certified or eligible in Neuroradiology. This position offers the opportunity to work at a nationally recognized academic medical center known for excellence in patient care, education, and research.
UNC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and the #1 ENT provider in North Carolina. The role involves a high-volume, high-complexity practice spanning advanced brain, head and neck, and spine imaging, with 80–85% adult and 15–20% pediatric cases.
Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic neuroradiology studies, including MRI and CT.
- Supervise fellows and residents.
- Perform basic fluoroscopic spine procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences.
- Contribute to research and mentor trainees on academic projects (highly desirable).
Qualifications
- ABR certification.
- CAQ certification or eligibility in Neuroradiology.
