Neuroradiologist

About the role

The Department of Radiology seeks a fellowship‑trained pediatric neuroradiologist or a CAQ‑certified adult neuroradiologist with substantial experience in pediatric neuroradiology for a full‑time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or higher at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine, Hofstra/Northwell. The successful candidate will join the radiology team at Cohen Children's Hospital to provide subspecialized neuroradiology services and participate in teaching residents in the ACGME‑accredited diagnostic radiology residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provide subspecialized neuroradiology services at Cohen Children's Hospital.
• Teach and mentor radiology residents, fellows, and medical students within the ACGME‑approved diagnostic radiology residency program.
• Engage in interdisciplinary pediatric conferences with neurology, neurosurgery, and oncology colleagues.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues on patient care and research initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental leadership and pursue opportunities for rapid advancement.
• Support research activities with funding and dedicated time for qualified investigators.

Requirements

• Fellowship‑trained in pediatric neuroradiology OR CAQ‑certified adult neuroradiologist with ample experience in pediatric neuroradiology.
• Eligibility for faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or higher at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine, Hofstra/Northwell.
