About the role
The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting a full-time Neuroradiologist who is ABR certified and CAQ certified or eligible in Neuroradiology. This is an opportunity to join a nationally recognized academic medical center known for excellence in patient care, education, and research in one of the most desirable towns in the country.
Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic neuroradiology studies, including advanced brain, head and neck, and spine imaging using MRI and CT.
- Supervise fellows and residents.
- Perform basic fluoroscopic spine procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences.
- Contribute to research and mentor trainees on academic projects (highly desirable).
Requirements
- ABR certification.
- CAQ certification or eligibility in Neuroradiology.
Work Environment
- High-volume, high-complexity practice with a mix of adult (80–85%) and pediatric (15–20%) cases.
- Collaborative environment with Neurology, ENT, Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology, and Neurointerventional Radiology.
- Access to state-of-the-art technology, including a photon-counting detector CT scanner.
- Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Ranked #1 ENT provider in North Carolina.
