About the role
The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale University School of Medicine invites applications for board eligible/certified radiologists with expertise in neuroradiology imaging for a full-time faculty appointment. Academic rank at Yale School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.
The Neuroradiology Section provides high-quality, timely, and progressive neuroimaging using high-end equipment. The section is highly valued by clinical colleagues for its subspecialist expertise and plans to expand to include attending-led, contemporaneous evening services seven days a week. A new $838M Neuroscience Center is being planned on the St. Raphael’s Campus in New Haven.
Neuroradiology services are in high demand across the Yale New Haven Health System. The team works alongside 12 neuroradiology fellows and radiology residents in a collaborative environment. Reading rooms are located at the Yale New Haven York Street and St. Raphael Campuses, with additional studies read from regional hospitals and outpatient imaging centers in New Haven and Fairfield Counties.
Responsibilities
- Provide subspecialist expertise in neuroradiology imaging, including advanced CT, MRI, and neuro fluoroscopic studies
- Participate in attending-led, contemporaneous evening services (seven days a week)
- Teach and mentor residents and fellows
- Collaborate with clinical colleagues across the Yale New Haven Health System
Requirements
- Board eligible/certified in Radiology
- Completed Neuroradiology fellowship training
- Clinical proficiency in advanced CT, MRI, and neuro fluoroscopic studies
- Commitment to teaching residents and fellows
