About the role
The Neurodiversity Center of Excellence is seeking a contract neuropsychologist to support provider network development efforts in Raleigh, North Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Conduct neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive functioning and identify areas of strength and weakness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop strategies for managing neurodiversity in clinical settings
- Develop and implement training programs for healthcare professionals on neurodiversity and best practices in care
- Provide consultation and guidance to healthcare organizations on integrating neurodiversity considerations into their policies and procedures
Requirements
- PhD in Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology
- Current licensure as a neuropsychologist in at least one state
- Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Qualifications
- Expertise in assessing and treating neurodevelopmental disorders
- Knowledge of best practices in neurodiversity management
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs
- Strong commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in healthcare
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
