About the role
The Neurodiversity Center of Excellence is seeking a contract neuropsychologist to support provider network development efforts. This position will collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement strategies that promote neurodiversity in the healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive functioning and identify areas of strength and need
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement strategies that promote neurodiversity in the healthcare setting
- Provide training and education to healthcare providers on topics related to neurodiversity and best practices for inclusion
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure ongoing support and engagement
Requirements
- PhD in Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology
- Current licensure as a neuropsychologist in at least one state
- Experience working with individuals who have neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies for neurodiversity in healthcare settings
- Knowledge of best practices for inclusion and accommodations in healthcare
- Experience with data collection and analysis
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Benefits
This is a contract position (1099) with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is hybrid, with a mix of remote and in-person work. The exact schedule will be determined based on the needs of the client and the candidate's availability.
