About the role

QLI is seeking a skilled psychologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide clinical expertise, conduct neuropsychological evaluations, and foster deep relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and consultation for a population of diagnostic groups including those with acquired brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and other neurological conditions.
  • Conduct and supervise neuropsychological evaluations for inpatient clients.
  • Occasionally perform outpatient evaluations.
  • Offer supportive education and therapy services as part of the psychology department team.
  • Adhere to legal, professional, and ethical codes regarding privacy and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with teams at all organizational levels and relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Show strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Collaborate with the psychology department team and participate in the Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program.
  • Current and unencumbered license in the State of NE or eligibility to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
  • Annual flu vaccine required during flu season.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail.
  • A strong interest in collaborative teamwork and research.
  • Ability to pass a fitness assessment and perform all physical activities related to the position.
  • Regular attendance in your assigned role is essential.

Schedule

This is a Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm full-time position with no formal on-call designated times.

Location

On-site (in-person) at 6404 N 70th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68104.
