As a member of our multidisciplinary team, the Neuropsychologist will provide direct services, aid in comprehensive evaluations and assessments, and provide consultation on treatment plans.
Position Description
The Neuropsychologist will join a multidisciplinary team, providing direct services, aiding in comprehensive evaluations and assessments, and offering consultation on treatment plans. They will also provide informal and formal education, complete required documentation, and prepare neuropsychological reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and assessment of clients as assigned.
- This includes assessments with children and direct contact and staffings with families as appropriate.
- Communicate, consult, and collaborate effectively with assessment and/or treatment team members to provide coordinated assessment and treatment services.
- Provide consultation on cases as requested.
- With request from administrator, provide targeted supervision and guidance to clinical staff as necessary and appropriate.
- Provide informal and formal education regarding mental health issues and treatment concepts as necessary and appropriate.
- Complete all required documentation and prepare neuropsychological reports.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin and qualified for reimbursement by Wisconsin MA and third-party payers.
- Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology.
- Completion of an internship with experience in neuropsychology.
- Completion of a fellowship with experience in neuropsychology.
- Experience and demonstrated skill in using clinical practice theories and systems.
- Demonstrated skills in leadership and problem-solving.
- Ability to receive and implement feedback.
- Ability to learn and adapt.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to be self-directed.
- Ability to generate and maintain a variety of documents through proficient use of Microsoft Office tools/computer programs or dictation.
