About the Role

TriStar Skyline Medical Center’s neuroscience group, a Comprehensive Stroke and Level I Trauma Center in Nashville, is seeking a neuromuscular specialist to provide high-quality care and teach residents in our Neurology GME program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide office consultation and EMG services
  • Teach neurology residents
  • Develop outreach to establish a 100 percent neuromuscular/EMG practice
  • Option for 1:6 or 1:12 hospital weeks, including some night call
  • Option for Associate Program Director (APD) position if qualified and interested (40 GME hours per month)

Requirements

  • Board certified in neurology
  • Board eligible or certified in neuromuscular medicine
  • Fellowship trained in neuromuscular medicine
  • Tennessee medical license or ability to obtain
  • DEA with full prescriptive authority
  • Strong commitment to teaching and patient care

  • Over 3,700 emergency department visits per month

About the GME Program

Our inaugural neurology residency welcomed its first-year residents in 2023 and is part of the HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education network, which includes more than 250 residency and fellowship programs nationwide. The program focuses on building innovative, patient-centered GME communities.
