About the role
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Neurologists to support our growing ambulatory neurology program, which includes outpatient clinics across the state of Georgia. We welcome applicants with a general neurology background and have a strong preference for candidates with subspecialty training in Vascular Neurology (to include stroke care follow up).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurological care to patients in outpatient clinics across Georgia.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in clinical research and academic activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of advanced practice provider (APP) programs to enhance clinical efficiency.
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology.
- Subspecialty training in Vascular Neurology preferred.
- Experience in outpatient neurology settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice medicine in Georgia.
- Passing scores on all required medical boards.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in neurology.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
