Neurology - Vascular Outpatient

About the role

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Neurologists to support our growing ambulatory neurology program, which includes outpatient clinics across the state of Georgia. We welcome applicants with a general neurology background and have a strong preference for candidates with subspecialty training in Vascular Neurology (to include stroke care follow up).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological care to patients in outpatient clinics across Georgia.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical research and academic activities.
• Support the development and maintenance of advanced practice provider (APP) programs to enhance clinical efficiency.

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology.
• Subspecialty training in Vascular Neurology preferred.
• Experience in outpatient neurology settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice medicine in Georgia.
• Passing scores on all required medical boards.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in neurology.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
