About the role

MercyOne Waterloo Neurology is seeking a clinic-based neurologist to join an established practice with two neurologists and one neuro-hospitalist. The position offers full specialty support with established referral patterns and patient base, and is H-1B cap exempt; J-1 candidates are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology care in a clinic setting
• Manage shared call with nurse triage only; no hospital or ER call
• Treat a wide variety of neurological conditions in complex patients
• Perform electromyography (EMG) and interpret electroencephalography (EEG) studies

Requirements

• Preference for candidates trained to perform EMGs and read EEGs

Pay

• $329,109 guaranteed base salary for 2 years plus production incentive
