About the role

We are seeking a visionary Neurohospitalist to elevate our award-winning neuroscience program. In this role, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients with complex neurological conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of specialists.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurological care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, neurologists, and other specialists to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers as part of our teaching mission.
• Contribute to the growth and innovation of Mercy’s neuroscience program through research, protocol development, and leadership.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
• Active or eligible for Arkansas medical licensure.
• Experience in hospitalist neurology or neurocritical care preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
