About the Role
Join our dynamic healthcare team in Bismarck, ND, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of general neurology disorders. You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families within CHI St. Alexius Health, a Primary Stroke Center.
This outpatient practice operates Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with inpatient consultations. You will join a team of 3 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider (APP). Hospitalists and intensivists manage admissions, and call is shared 1:3 with no stroke call. Minimum on-call load is supported by 24/7 Telestroke services for ER and inpatient needs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurologic disorders.
- Conduct and perform EMG's and read EEG's.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Neurosurgery, Interventional Radiology, Sleep Medicine, and Pain Management.
- Provide teaching opportunities with UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences medical students, UND Family Medicine Residents, and Hospital Medicine Fellows.
- Work within a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center using the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Completion of an accredited residency program.
- Valid North Dakota medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in North Dakota.
- North Dakota DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.

Pay
$371,468 - $390,041 /yearly
Schedule
- Outpatient practice: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
- Call schedule: 1:3 (no stroke call).
