Neurology Clinical Nurse (PRN)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Key Responsibilities Develops, implements, and documents personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family.Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural background.Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development. Qualifications & Skills Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.Licensure: Valid RN license.Experience: No prior experience required; however, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least two years of experience are preferred.Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices. Additional Information: This position is within a specialized inpatient rehabilitation unit serving adult to geriatric patients with complex medical conditions including strokes, orthopedic issues, neurological disorders, and trauma. The role emphasizes patient safety, effective communication, and holistic care delivery.
