About the role

The job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Area and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P). This role is available as an employed position within a nonprofit health system.

Responsibilities

• Step into a well-established Neurology team of 1 Neurologist, 100% outpatient general neurology with flexible clinic hours Monday-Friday.
• Access to Support Staff including MA’s and LVN’s to manageable patient volume, allowing for meaningful, relationship-focused care and strong work-life balance along with virtual appointment options.
• Opportunity to develop a sub-specialty focus alongside a broad General Neurology practice, based on your clinical interests.
• High patient demand supports rapid practice growth, enabling you to build a full panel quickly and make an immediate impact.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions in an outpatient setting, developing individualized treatment plans and coordinating care with primary care and specialty teams.
• Provide ongoing, relationship-based care and patient education, including follow-ups, medication management, and preventive strategies to optimize long-term neurological health.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
